Access Keys

When supported by a browser, Access Keys allow the user to use keyboard keys for functions which are normally done using a mouse, e.g. to follow a link one might (in some environments) use the Alt key and a letter or number as an alternative to clicking on the link with a mouse. This can be crucial to people with motoric disabilities.

On Windows computers you can press the Alt key and the Access Key, followed by the Enter key (modern Windows browsers such as Mozilla’s Firefox do not require the Enter key); on Apple Macintosh computers you can press the Ctrl key and the Access Key.
