Welcome to The Mowlem’s website. Here you will find information about our restaurant, bars and theatre.

The Mowlem is sited on the edge of the sea and has resplendent views of Swanage bay. The building houses a restaurant, two bars, a well-equipped theatre seating four-hundred, a spacious committee room for groups of up to one-hundred, and four shops.

The restaurant and bars offer a wide selection of fine food and beverages – from a cup of coffee to a three-course meal. For more information see the restaurant and bars sections of this website.

The theatre is open for approximately one-hundred live and two-hundred and fifty film performances each year and caters for both professional and amateur theatre. The committee room is used extensively during mornings, afternoons and evenings. Availability of the theatre and committee room for booking may be obtained from the receptionist or manager.
